What a Pro subscription licenses
This summary is based on the current Solid Objects Pro end-user licence. The complete agreement controls if this summary differs.

- One legal entity unless the invoice or order form says otherwise. Affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, clients, and other legal entities are not included automatically.
- Developers and contractors
- Employees and contractors may access the software only to work for the licensed entity. The entity is responsible for protecting the software and for their use.
- CI and deployment
- The entity may use reasonable development, testing, backup, archival, and disaster-recovery copies. It may run the software on an unlimited number of hosts, containers, processes, and threads that it controls.
- Applications and deployments
- No numeric application or deployment limit is stated for applications the entity owns and operates. Users may not receive the proprietary source as an independently usable library. Redistributable or on-premises products require a separate written distribution licence.
- Runtime entitlement
- The current Pro plan includes the Solid Objects Pro packages for Rails and Node.js. Each package carries the proprietary licence delivered with it.
- After cancellation
- When a paid subscription expires, updates and support end. The customer may keep running copies installed during the paid term, but may not add hosts or deploy a new version without renewal unless the order grants different rights.
- Updates and future versions
- Updates are available only during the applicable term and only as stated in the order or published terms. No particular future feature or release is promised.
- Registry credentials
- Private package and download credentials are confidential. They may be used only by authorized people and may not be shared with another entity or unlicensed party.
- Support
- Published email support covers the unmodified licensed package for installation, configuration, upgrades, and private issues. The licence does not require support for customer modifications or promise a response-time SLA.
- Refunds
- Unless the order says otherwise, a full refund may be requested within fourteen days after initial delivery for any reason. No explanation is required.
Package scope
One subscription provides both Pro packages.
The account credential authorizes the private Rails and Node.js registries for the licensed entity. The package licences share the same entity, deployment, confidentiality, cancellation, and redistribution boundaries.
